Welcome to my portfolio.
I'm a creative writer and currently a reporter at The Frederick News-Post based in Frederick, MD, writing about health, the environment and nonprofits. Throughout my career thus far, I've had the opportunity to work at different news organizations to report on underreported topics and can work in any kind of newsroom, whether that's producing breaking news stories and pushing out daily articles or spending months picking apart a subject as part of long-term investigative projects. I have also pursued creative writing through courses in prose and poetry, as well as writing my own projects in my free time and reading often to find inspiration and learn from other authors' works.
